Our campsite is beautifully situated by the sea on
the south tip of the Lindesnes peninsula.
The area offers beautiful experiences in nature, located as it is so close to the sea. In addition, the site is sunny, receiving the late evening sun. The costline's distinctive sloping, naked rock and exciting scenery make their impression both when the ocean shows its best side and when the storm rages. |
| The campsite is surrounded by rugged hill country,
which offers possibilities for peaceful hiking while one enjoys the
view of the sea.
All buildings are constructed in the period of 1996-2010. The modern commons building contains WC's, showers, washing and drying machines and cooking facilities. Each cabin contains a living room with kitchen, bedroom, shower, toilet, satellite-TV, refrigerator, hot-plate and coffee-maker. The cabins may be rented by the week or by the day. Please order in advance for longer stays. |

Lillehavn, a small fishing port lying just 200
metres from the campsite, is an attractive place with a charming
location. There is good fishing here, and the port is a vacation
experience in itself.
It is not far to Spangereid where one finds a post office, bank, service station, and food store "Spar Super- marked". Lindesnes Lighthouse (the southernmost point of Norway) is 3,5 km away, and is known for its distinctiveness and for being the site of the country's first lighthouse, built in 1655. The present lighthouse was built in 1915. This is a must destination for all tourists! |
During the stay you may rent a bicycle for day-trips in the vicinity. We recommend cycling to Lindesnes Lighthouse. Combine vacation with exercise! The sundown from the lightshouse platform is a unique experience on fine summer evenings. It is also possible to rent an outboard motor boat for fishing in the sea. |
